Fasting and diets with very few calories (such as the Skinny Bitch diet) are counterproductive.

Extremly low calories makes your body go haywire. It thinks there is a shortage of food and your metabolism adjusts itself accordingly. it basicly just shuts down! It wants to keep u alive u know 🙂 When u do eat ‘normal’, your body will divert everything to the fatstores… in case food shortage is around the corner again…

As a result, you have cut your calories even lower to obtain weight loss. This is also called the yo-yo effect. When u binge, and u will binge! your gains wil be mainly fat.
