Post workout meal? nah! low liver glycogen equals extra fatburning

Debunked by LabShapers

Post-exercise, the body needs nutrients such as proteins, fats and carbohydrates, but u wanne not do that right away…

Carbohydrates are important for energy supply , Proteins are important for muscle recovery. By eating enough protein, your body is better able to repair the muscle damage in training.

Wait..huh, doesn’t my body need nutrients?
Yes and no…if u exercise, the glycogen levels in your muscles and liver are depleted. Great! Only one energy source available… tadaa.. FAT! So wait for a few hours post-workout. Your body will run on pure fat, and when u do eat…alls the nutrients are absorbed better. U wont lose any muscle. That usualy happens after 78 hours of fasting 🙂 so relax and enjoy that extra bit of oxidation!
