What’s so special about these area’s? To understand this, let’s look at the main critical difference. Regular fat cells have a lot of beta-2 receptors in proportion to alpha-2 receptors of stubborn fat-cells.
It’s just a different kind of fat
Without getting too deep into the physiology and to keep it relatively simple, The ratio between beta-2 receptors and alpha-2 receptors determines how easy it is to trigger fat loss from that specific region of the body. “Easy” fat has higher b2 to a2 ratio, while stubborn fat has a higher a2 to b2 ratio.
In the end, the only way to get rid of your love handles, or any other specific area’s, is a lower total body fat percentage. Getting rid of stubborn fat comes down to patience. There’s no “quick fix” solution. Only various strategies that we will discuss in the near future!
